# Maximum messages split for Email to SMS 

## How to set a maximum message split for Email to SMS in MXT

**1.** Select ***‘API & Integrations’*** on the left-hand side of the MXT menu, click on ***‘Email settings’***.

**2.** Click on the ***‘Enable Email to SMS’*** switch, and more options will appear.

**3.** Under the ***‘Maximum Messages Split Allowed’*** option, enter the maximum number of SMS you would like the system to be able to split your message up into.

(This may be required if you are sending longer SMS than before.)

**4.** Select ***‘Update settings’*** to save the changes to your maximum message split.
