# Share contact lists with Sub Accounts

## How to share contact lists with your sub accounts by creating them as Global Contact Lists

To share contact groups with sub-accounts, they must be ***‘Global Contact Lists’***.

**1.** Select ***‘Send Messages’*** on the left hand side of the MXT menu, click on ***‘Contact Lists’***.

**2.** Click on the '***cog icon'*** next to the group that you would like to share with your sub accounts, and select ***‘Edit’***.

***Note:*** *this step can also be completed when [creating a new contact list](https://hs.smsglobal.com/how-to-create-a-contact-list-in-mxt-smsglobal-help-center?hsLang=en-au).*

**3.** Tick the box next to ***‘Make this a Global Contact List’***, then click ***‘Update Group’***.

This contact list will now be available to your sub accounts to send SMS to.
