How to enable TLS/SSL encryption when connecting to SMSGlobal APIs.

Use of TLS/SSL is supported and strongly encouraged with all SMSGlobal APIs.

SMSGlobal recommends a minimum of TLS 1.2.


HTTP API

HTTPS is supported for secure connection using TLS/SSL encryption.

SOAP API

HTTPS is supported for secure connection using TLS/SSL encryption.

REST API

HTTPS is supported for secure connection using TLS/SSL encryption.

SMPP

IP/DOMAIN: smpp.smsglobal.com

PORT (TLS Connection): 1776

Additional Security Features:

SMSGlobal can provide an encrypted VPN Tunnel to allow the customer to connect directly to SMSGlobal, or provide IP whitelisting as additional services.
