How to configure SMS delivery receipts to be sent to an email address

1. Select ‘API & Integrations’ on the left-hand side of the MXT menu, then click on ‘Delivery Receipts’.

2. Enable delivery receipts by switching the toggle to 'On'.

3. Choose to send delivery receipts to your primary account email address or a custom email address.

4. Click ‘Update Settings’ to confirm changes.

Please note: Bulk SMS will generate large numbers of delivery receipts and could flood your inbox.


See below for a sample of information that will be received in your email inbox:

There has been a Delivery Receipt Status Update on the following message

FROM: SMSGlobal
TO: 61457xxxxxx
MESSAGE: Test
MSG SENT: 2021-06-29 14:41:00.0 (y-m-d h:m:s)
STATUS: DELIVRD
STATUS AT: 2106291441 (yymmddmmss)


You can change the preferences of these emails at https://mxt.smsglobal.com/
Please note that this Status update may be delayed by up to 24 hours even though the message has been sent as this is low priority.
